Massachusetts General Hospital

Massachusetts General Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides evidence-based courses to prepare you for delivery. You’ll learn from registered labor and delivery nurses and certified childbirth educators. The classes cover everything, including signs of labor, potential medical interventions, and newborn care at the hospital following delivery. 

The courses are for parents after the 32nd week of pregnancy. You’ll bring your partner and learn how to get through labor. The hospital also offers infant CPR and safety classes, newborn care classes, and infant massage instructional classes.

BIDMC of Boston

At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, you can attend courses taught by the nurses on staff. All of the teachers are certified lactation consultants and certified childbirth educators.
