You can find classes on birthing and breastfeeding multiples, cesarean births, and newborn care. Over The Moon Parenting

Over the Moon Parenting is a group with partnerships with Tufts Medical Center and MetroWest Medical Center. Boston Birth Associates

Boston Birth Associates is a doula agency dedicated to giving parents calm and fulfilling birth experiences. The birth classes can be offered either in private or in group settings. Over 5.5 hours, you’ll be presented with evidence-based information that will prepare you for labor. 

They’ll discuss medical procedures, partner support, comfort techniques, and stages of labor. The center provides other classes on topics such as hypnobirthing, infant sleep, newborn care, and breastfeeding. Many of the courses have a virtual option. Nurture by NAPS

You’ll learn about topics including getting ready for birth, preparing for an unmedicated birth, and prepping for a c-section. The hospital provides classes that cover hypnobirthing as well as spinning babies. Their parenting classes will prepare you to tackle any issues you might face after your baby is born. They aim to help you be a mindful parent who will make the best decisions for your family.

Massachusetts General Hospital

Massachusetts General Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides evidence-based courses to prepare you for delivery. You’ll learn from registered labor and delivery nurses and certified childbirth educators. The classes cover everything, including signs of labor, potential medical interventions, and newborn care at the hospital following delivery. 

The courses are for parents after the 32nd week of pregnancy. You’ll bring your partner and learn how to get through labor. The hospital also offers infant CPR and safety classes, newborn care classes, and infant massage instructional classes.

BIDMC of Boston

At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, you can attend courses taught by the nurses on staff. All of the teachers are certified lactation consultants and certified childbirth educators. They understand your busy schedule and make it a breeze to study whatever way works for you. You can take the courses in person or virtually. 

You can also take part in their monthly Q&A session. During these virtual webinars, you’ll get the chance to ask anything on your mind and receive knowledgeable answers.
